During a interview while doing the press release of UK's High School Musical on Stage the cast shared some secrets from the stage adaption of the movie.
Perry Presents interviewed some of the actors and they shared that three songs that are not included in the movie will be part of the musical. One of them according to a very shy answer from Tobias Turley (Troy) and Leonor Correia (Gabriela), "There's a song it's in the movie, the credit song of the movie, and it's now in the musical, do your research!". The song mentioned is "I Can't Take My Eyes Of You", a bonus track that was recorded by the cast but not included in the film. On the musical, the song is performed by Troy and Gabriella showing their growing interests as lovers.
Harry Jud, that plays Coach Bolton in London's production shared that the stage will be immersive and the older fans will feel the nostalgia and new ones will enjoy this new production. The stage design was also revealed to the public in a video.
Kaycee Stroh, that this time plays Ms Darbus, shared the same information about the 'deleted' song and that "the nostalgia and the message you got from the film is still there, it's bigger is wilder, and we have an extra character, we have extra songs, one of them deleted from the film and if you do come, you're gonna need to hear that".
